Things You'll Need:
- stay focus

- plan ahead
- be prepared
- smart
- resources
- innovative
-
Step 1
Start saving. There are no guarantees that in 2 months from now that you will still have your job. In a recession – everything is uncertain. Create an emergency fund so that you have money available should something happen.
-
Step 2
Be sure to plan ahead. This is vital in order to survive during a recession. You can try lower your mortgage payment. Do you own a business? If so, be sure to get some products in that people will still need and want during the time of a recession as many will need to cut out their luxuries.
-
Step 3
Definitely downsize. Don’t pay for things that you don’t need. This only takes more money away from being able to fully support your family with the important monthly bills and food.
-
Step 4
Try to cut back. This can mean anywhere from clothing to food. Try buying at cheaper places or possibly even in bulk so you save money. Do whatever you can to cut back on your grocery bill and spending habits.
