Now, you not only have nothing to eat but a pan to scrub. Things You'll Need

  • Dish detergent
  • Baking soda
  • 4 tbsp. of salt

Instructions

  1. Boiled Soapy Water

    • 1

      Add a small amount of dish detergent and 1/2 inch of water to the pan.

      Place the pan on the oven burner and heat until boiling. Turn off the burner and allow the water to cool.

      Remove the pan and wash as normal.

    Baking Soda and Water

      Place a stopper into the sink and run enough hot water to cover the pan.

      Add 2 tbsp. of baking soda for each 1 qt. of water.

      Allow the pan to soak until the burned food is easily removed. Make a paste of baking soda and rub onto the food for stubborn burns.

    Salt and Water

      Fill the pan with enough hot water to cover the food.

    • 8

      Add 4 tbsp. of salt to the water.

    • 9

      Allow the pan to soak for two hours and wash as normal.
