How to make an easy homemade macaroni

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • One 8 or 16 ounce block of cheddar cheese
  • a teaspoon of mustard from your fridge
  • a half teaspoon of flour
  • a box of macaroni noodles
  • 2 to 3 cans of milk or 2 cups of whole milk from your fridge
  • a teaspoon of butter
  1. Step 1

Begin boiling your macaroni noodles either in the microwave of on the stove.
Be sure to add salt to your taste and stir often.

  2. Step 2

    Shred your cheese.

  3. Step 3

In a medium boiler or saucepan add 1 teaspoon of butter over medium heat.

  4. Step 4

Next add about a half teaspoon of flour and begin stirring with a whisk.

  5. Step 5

When the butter and flour are combined add a teaspoon of mustard from your fridge.
At this time preheat your oven to about 350 degrees.

  6. Step 6

Once mixed well add one and a half cans of evaporated milk or one to one and a half cups of whole milk.
    I prefer evaporate milk.

  7. Step 7

Next add half of your shredded cheese to the sauce mixture.

  8. Step 8

Stir continuously until the cheese is melted.

  9. Step 9

Drain your macaroni noodles and in a large bowl mix with your cheese sauce.

  10. Step 10

Pour mixture into a large casarole dish or a foil lasanga pan.

  11. Step 11

Spread the remaining shredded cheese over top.

  12. Step 12

Cook in the oven for about 30 minutes or until cheese is golden brown.
