Make Addictive Red Salsa
Make Addictive Red Salsa

This is my favorite recipe for red salsa. It is the recipe of my mother in law who resides in Mexico. Every one who has tried it says it is very addictive. The salsa has even won at salsa contests. Give it a try and tell me what you think

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 5 large red tomatoes
  • 3-5 Jalapeno peppers (depends on how spicy you want your salsa to be)
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/8 cup of parsley
  • 1 medium garlic clove
  • knife
  • blender
  • a pot of boiling water
  1. Step 1

Peel all of the pieces of Garlic and the onion. Wash the other vegetables thoroughly.

  2. Step 2

Fill a pan up half way with cold water. Place the pan on the stove. Turn the burner you are using on high and wait for the water to boil.

  3. Step 3

Put all of the vegetables in the pot of boiling water. Boil the vegetables until they are tender. The skin of the tomato should start to peel when the vegetables are ready.

  4. Step 4

Remove the skin from the red tomatoes and throw the skin in the trash. Then place all of the boiled vegetables, the tsp of salt and the 1/8 cup of parsley leaves in the blender. Blend on high until the vegetables have turned liquid.

  5. Step 5

The salsa is ready to eat and tastes wonderful still warm.

Tips & Warnings
  • You can use fresh parsley or dried. If you use dried parsley let the salsa sit for an hour or two before eating.
  • This salsa is highly addictive be sure to make a lot so every one gets a taste.
