Spray Paint Wicker Furniture

Wicker furniture is popular in many home across America, and staple in most beach homes. The unfortunate part is that you are limited to natural or white- with very little variety to choose from. But now, you can transform your favorite wicker pieces into unique items that match the rest of your home decor- by just using a can of spray paint!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

Always use spray paint outside or in an open garage with great ventilation, because the fumes can be dangerous!

  2. Step 2

When painting with spray paint, it is easy to accidentally spray something you didn't intend to, not to mention the wind! Move cars, bikes, tools or anything else you don't want painted out of the way; or cover it with a drop cloth for protection.

  3. Step 3

Shake the spray can very well before beginning to ensure proper mixture and always hold it 8-12 inches away from the surface. Holding it too close will result in the paint running.

  4. Step 4

Keep your arm moving slowly, back and forth, for even coverage and distribution. Allow the first coat to completely dry before applying a second coat.
