If you have been out of school for a while and are just deciding to go back to college, you may need a copy of your transcripts. Maybe you are applying for a job and need your diploma. You can get copies of your diploma or copies of your high school transcripts by following the steps below.

Instructions

1. Contact the school board in which you went to high school. If you no longer live in the area, simply search for the high school name under the white pages. Speak to someone who keeps track of paperwork within the facility.

2. Request a copy of your transcripts. Ask them to send a copy of your transcripts to your address. Make sure that the transcripts are notarized. Most transcripts are not valid unless notarized.

3. After you receive your paperwork, you can then apply to schools and for a job, if you were needing a diploma. You could always replace your diploma with a fake diploma that you can get online. This is of course is only to replace the one you actually had.
