make a Easter Basket Out of One Sheet of Paper
make a Easter Basket Out of One Sheet of Paper

I learned how to do this in elementary school.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • One sheet of paper (construction)
  • Stick glue, Stapler or white glue.
  • Scissors
  • paint brush
  1. Step 1

Take your one sheet and draw a line one inch from the edge down the short side of the paper. Take your scissors and cut down that line.

Set the strip to the side.

  2. Step 2

Now take you piece of paper and fold it in thirds. It does not matter which side you start on cause your going to be folding it on both sides. Fold it once the long way and once the short way.

  3. Step 3

When done you should have 9 boxes. 3 by 3. on to next step

  4. Step 4

Next cut 4 times, hard to explain so follow the picture. to the left.

  5. Step 5

After the paper is cut. take the side of one side and bring the up towards the middle piece and glue, or staple them together. do that to each side. I would reccommend you glue.

  6. Step 6

Now take that strap piece you cut earlier and glue or staple eachside to the sides of the paper boc, for a handle.

  7. Step 7

And there you have your own paper easter box/basket. Again Construction paper is a better use for this.

Tips & Warnings
  • the box can be decorated anyway.
  • Use white glue but don't make it messy to avoid that use a paint brush to appy the glue.
  • You could use cardoard to make the box (staple it) and cover it with a fabric.
