Things You'll Need:
- Cardboard Base
- Glue Gun
- 8 7/8x1 3/16-inch White Styrofoam Base
- Candy
- Choose Candy Bars around your flavor choices
-
Step 1
Candy, glue gun, hot glue sticks - let's do it!!!ASSEMBLE YOUR INGREDIENTS AND GLUE GUN
Aim, ready, FIRE the glue gun up. Then assemble your candy to glue to your base.
Make sure you have enough candy to go around your base, and fit inside of your candy basket. -
Step 2
Glue your chocolate bars.BEGIN GLUING THE CANDY AROUND YOUR BASE
After your glue gun warms up begin applying hot glue to your chosen base.
Like I said, I glued my chocolate bars to an empty whipped cream tub. It worked and provided the definition I needed.
(The next time I will use a stryofoam base so the candy will be spplied evenly.)
Hold the glued candy bar to the base and let it stick on there. -
Step 3
Completes the gluing.CONTINUE GLUING
Continue gluing until you have your area covered.
If you have gaps between your chocolate bars and you have glued to a styrofoam ring, you can add a little curling ribbon and fix it up. -
Step 4
Fill the basket up with candyWHEN YOU COMPLETE ADDING YOU CHOCOLATE BASE - - -
begin adding candy.
What a sweet fun gift this would make for any event!!!
