Several men and women find themselves in a rut and unsatisfied with the way that they look and feel. Many opt into doing a complete makeover which can cost them a lot of money. The truth is that you can achieve a complete makeover without spending a ton of money at a spa or salon. Here is how you can give yourself and total makeover and save money while doing it.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • A Stylist
  • Hair Dye that flatters your skin tone
  • Make Up that flatters your skin tone
  • Clothes that Flatter Your Body type
  • Shoes that coordinate with your outfit
  1. Step 1

One of the first things you need to do is to evaluate the way you currently look and see what you are satisfied with, and what you should change about your appearance. We all have features that we like, and what we would rather change. Once you figure out how you want to change your appearance, and then begin your total make over journey.

  2. Step 2

Next, you start with the hair and see if there are any changes to be made. If you are not satisfied with the way your hair looks, you can always visit a salon to try a new cut or style; or possibly change the color of your hair. To find the right hair style to suit you, look through a hairstyle magazine and find a cut that is fitting to the shape of your face before you head to the stylist. You can always change your hair color yourself with a bottle of hair dye or a bleaching kit.

  3. Step 3

Another thing that you can change about your current look is the type of makeup that you wear. The wrong type of makeup can make you look several years older than you really are. To find the right make up, begin with finding a foundation that matches your skin tone. If your foundation is too light or too dark, it can look like you are wearing a mask, which can be very unflattering. After that try and experiment with different shades of eye shadows, blush, and lip color to complement your skin tone and eye color.

  4. Step 4

One of the most important steps in finishing off your makeover is finding the right clothes and shoes to compliment your new look. This should start by looking through your closet and finding things that you want to keep or want to give away. Put everything that you are not going to wear anymore into a tote or bag and have a yard sale or give it away to charity. Find clothing that flatters your figure, and that you feel beautiful in. The shoes should coordinate your outfit to give your look a polished feel.
