Things You'll Need:
- Scissors
- Tshirt
-
Step 1
For one of the tshirt designs that adds extra ventilation, you can cut off the arms with scissors, and even cut the arm holes a little larger. This tshirt design is especially good for hard work outside on a hot day, when comfort considerations trump fashion considerations.
-
Step 2
One of the tshirt designs that can be used to make a tshirt s little bit more revealing and sexy, is to cut the bottom of the shirt off at the level of your navel. This look exposes some midriff and was popular in the 80's with fans of hair metal music. Remember, if you are going to try making these 80's t shirts using printed t shirts, make sure that you do not cut into the printed t shirt design.
-
Step 3
One of the designs that is a little less dramatic is to cut a small triangle into the front of the neck opening of the tshirt. I do not recommend making this alteration, since it serves little practical purpose and has hardly ever enjoyed much popularity as a fashion statement, except among college sports teams in the mid nineties.
