Step 1
Shop online. Plenty of online junior retail stores sells prom dresses that are trendy, beautiful yet affordable. To name a few, Prom Girl. Go Jane and Windsor Store have different selection of prom dresses that in different colors and fits your tastes.
-
Step 2
Look for programs that gives away free prom dress- Glass Slipper Project and Donate my Dress voluntarily gives away free prom dresses for young women who are not able to afford one. These programs are available in most participating US states so search for one that is closest to your area to get a free dress and even accessories and shoes for the occasion.
-
Step 3
Buy prom dresses months prior to prom time- It's is best to plan for your prom months ahead rather than waiting a month or worse, weeks before the event comes around. Four or five months are decent as not many people are focus on prom and the result of that means the dresses are less expensive.
