Things You'll Need:
- Deck of 52 playing cards
- Friends
-
Step 1
You start out by explaining what you are doing as you go. Take the deck of cards and count out 26 cards FACE UP. As you are counting PAY ATTENTION to the 18th card only and REMEMBER THAT CARD but don't let anyone know you are remembering it. When you reach 26, put the pile aside face down.
-
Step 2
With the remaining cards still in hand, put the top 4 cards in front of you in 4 individual piles. Then you may add the pile in hand to the 26 you put aside.
-
Step 3
From the value of each card ace=1, face cards=10, add more cards to each pile (these cards should be face down on top of the face up piles), until you reach 10. So for example, if I had a 6 in the first pile I would count out loud 7, 8, 9, 10 adding 4 cards to that pile.
-
Step 4
When you have reached 10 on each pile add up the total value of the 4 face up cards. For example if I had 6, K, 7, 4 the total would be 27. Finally take the pile of cards you have left and count out to the 27th card which should be the 18th card you remembered earlier.
