Things You'll Need:
- Divot tool
- Nice shot onto the Green
-
Step 1
Your divot will look like thisAfter you make that nice shot onto the green take a look for a divot. This will be the place that your ball made impact on the ground. You will see a golf ball size crater, this is your divot.
-
Step 2
Standard divot toolYou will need to use your divot tool for this. Take your divot tool and stick it in the ground on the outer perimeter of your divot. Push forward on your divot tool to squeeze the ground in around your divot. Do this a couple of times around your divot and it should now be just above being flat.
-
Step 3
Take the bottom of your putter and push it down on the divot. This will flatten it out, once again making the green flat. Every time you land on the green take a look for a divot. This will make the game better for everyone.
