Most people, when making a hard boiled egg, leave the egg(s) on high heat for the duration of cooking the egg. This method works, but there is a better way to make hard boiled eggs.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Egg(s)
  • Water
  • Pan
  1. Step 1

Fill pan with water and bring to a rolling boil. To speed up the boiling process, add a dash of salt to the water.

  2. Step 2

Once water begins to boil, remove the pan from heat and add the egg(s) to the pan. Cover with tight fitting lid.

  3. Step 3

Time the pan for twenty minutes. After pan has sat for the required amount of time, place it in the sink and run under cold water for several minutes to "shock" the eggs.

  4. Step 4

Drain out the water from the pan and crack open an egg and enjoy. You can compare this egg to one made the traditional way, and you will discover a noticeable difference in this one and a traditional one!
