2. Add a photo. Sure, most places offer a service to print your photo directly onto the card. However, this takes your free printable greeting cards into more expensive territory. Instead, look for a card with lots of blank space & then print it out. Affix a photo to the front with scrapbooking corners. This way, your loved one can put the picture on the fridge later or they can even frame it. Plus, you'll get a much higher quality of picture.

3. Use a quality paper for your free printable greeting cards. This will give you more of the feeling of a store bought card & it will hold up better because it will be heavier. You can just print out your artwork & affix it to a plain card that you get in packages at the dollar store.
