Make a Liquid Deodorant

There is a difference between antiperspirant and deodorants. Antiperspirant work by clogging the underarm pores with astringents so they cannot release perspiration. Deodorants work by neutralizing the smell of the perspiration that mixes with the skin and bacteria under the arms. Many health care professionals argue against using antiperspirant because it blocks perspiration which is the natural way our bodies cool themselves. You can make a very effective liquid deodorant at home that will give you all of the benefits of store-bought deodorant, but will allow you to use natural products and choose your own scent. Does this Spark an idea?

Things You'll Need

  • 1/4 cup aloe vera gel
  • 1/4 cup mineral water
  • 1/4 cup Witch Hazel Extract
  • 1 tsp vegetable glycerin
