Things You'll Need:
- Internet Connection
- Access to your Facebook account
-
Step 1
Login to your Facebook account and go to the Home page if it doesn't automatically take you there.
-
Step 2
At the bottom of the Home page there is a link titled "Options for News Feed." Click this link.
-
Step 3
Here you are on the News Feed Preferences page and you have an equalizer with sliders representing categories such as videos, photos, groups and more. All of these sliders represent the content that is pooled by all of your friends and groups onto your Home page.
-
Step 4
Adjust the sliders for more notes and less videos or less events and more wall posts. This is uniquely personalized and should be based on what you want to see more or less of.
-
Step 5
Now look below the equalizer sliders and notice that you can add friends individually to see more or less of them. Have a friend from high school that is a serial video poster? Instead of changing the video equalizer bar try adding his name to the "Less About These Friends" list instead.
-
Step 6
Any changes to this page are automatically saved and you can return to change them at any time. Play with a combination until you find something that works.

on 10/27/2009 Yes PinkElephant Facebook has upgraded their system and this article is no longer relevant. Unfortunately I cannot remove the article as eHow does not give me that option.
