This is a great side dish to enjoy with any meal. It is so simple and easy to prepare. This string bean and mushroom oreganata can be made in no time at all. This will be a favorite on your dinner table.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 8-12 oz of sliced mushrooms
  • 1 can of string beans drained
  • vinegar
  • pepper
  • garlic powder
  • oil
  • parsley
  • bread crumbs
  1. Step 1

Put a medium size pot over medium heat on your stove top.

  2. Step 2

Put oil on the bottom of the pot. Just coat the pot with oil.

  3. Step 3

Now add garlic powder about 1 tsp or according to taste. Now add a 1/4 tsp of black pepper to the oil and garlic.

  4. Step 4

When the garlic becomes fragrant add 1 can of drained string beans to the pot of oil garlic and pepper. Just stir the beans in.

  5. Step 5

Allow the beans to become warm and coated with the garlic oil and pepper.

  6. Step 6

Now add 1 tbsp of balsamic vinegar to the pot or any vinegar that you have on hand.

  7. Step 7

Toss the mushrooms in the pot and mix all of the ingredients well together. And add 1 tsp of parsley flakes into the mixture as well.
Cook everything together until the mushrooms become soft.

  8. Step 8

After the mushrooms are soft slowly add in the bread crumbs to the pot. Just stir the bread crumbs into the mushrooms and string beans. The bread crumbs will absorb the oil and the vinegar and allow the mushrooms and beans to start to stick together. You can add bread crumbs a little bit at a time just keep mixing the bread crumbs till you have absorbed the oil and vinegar and the mixture becomes together.
