Using Adobe Photoshop 7 can be challenging, but learning to blend words and pictures can be taught fairly quickly.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Adobe Photoshop 7
  • Computer
  1. Step 1

First, with your chosen picture, identify your layers. The way to do so is to look at the LAYERS tab on the side of screen. If your photo has one of more layers, the blending can be done, however, one must choose which layer to blend.

  2. Step 2

Next, with the mouse, select the layer that you want to blend. This layer can be a photo or letters. Simply move the mouse over to the LAYERS and click once to highlight it. Whatever is inside that layer, will blend when commanded.

  3. Step 3

Third, right click on the mouse which is hovering over the selected LAYER. A pop-up box will appear that states BLENDING OPTIONS. Select this option.

  4. Step 4

Another pop-up box will appear, and this is where the blending will take place. At the top left of this box, one will see Styles:BLENDING OPTIONS:Default. Below this column are a number of ways in which to blend and create effects in the LAYER. Adjacent to this column, or the right column, is the general and advanced blending. Checking these boxes to the left and/or adjusting the position of the arrows causes the blending effects to occur. When done, hit save.
