Things You'll Need:
- you!
- your clothes!
- If you choose, accessories.
-
Step 1
TOPS: The easiest way that I've found to make tops that might be a little to revealing modest is to wear them together! Layering clothes is cute, and can be a great way to keep it modest. A shirt that might be too low cut might also be longer, so throw a cute t-shirt over top! The opposite can be used for a shirt thats to short but keeps you covered everywhere else. Mix and match, and have fun with it. If a shirt has become too tight, wear it as an under shirt. No matter how you decide to mix and match your clothes its always good to keep a few rules just for you. I always used the "three finger rule." Which just meant that sleeves/straps were 3 at least fingers in width, and shirts came to at least 3 fingers below my collar bone. Make up your own rules, and stick with them!

Step 2
BOTTOMS: As a girl, bottoms were always harder to me for some reason. But again, set your own rules, and keep them! When you go shopping avoid buying shorts or skirts that you think might look to short on you, and always try things on before you take them home if you're unsure. Although sports shorts aren't always the cutest things, they're good to have around on those days when your just hangning out or going to be outside all day. If you have shorts or skirts that you feel are a bit to short, you don't have to completely stop wearing them! Throw some tights under them to cover up and still wear the same cute clothes. (My rules for bottoms were always that they cover up to a hand's width (side ways) above the knee.)

Step 3
ACCESSORIES: These are optional, but they can always be used to complete your outfit. My roommate loves her accesories. Have fun with them!
