This is just a quick, silly idea to make someone in your life laugh today by sending them a funny email - friends, family, coworkers, or anyone else who enjoys good humor. The email you will send is actually referred to as "Monk-E-Mail" and it stems from some old advertisements by careerbuilder.com. Anyways, it just takes a few minutes of time and a little creativity to make a really funny email message.

      First, you will need to get to the "Monk-E-Mail" website. I have made this rather easy by including a link at the bottom of the page in the Resources section. If the link will not work, try searching Monk-E-Mail on Google or Yahoo.

      Next, you will need to "choose your chimp" - that is choose the type of monkey that you want to deliver your message. After you choose your chimp, you will need to suit him/her up in the appropriate gear - choose from headgear, clothes, stuff, glasses, and places. You have completed the design of your funny email delivery chimp.

      Now, to complete your funny monkey email, you will need to add what you want your chimp to say to your recipient. You are able to use a pre-recorded message or you can type in exactly what you want your chimp to say. Or even better, you can record by phone or microphone your own voice to use in the chimp body!

      After you have typed or recorded the message, you are able to preview the funny email. Now, choose your recipient and enter their email address after clicking on the forward section. Finally send the email and take joy in knowing you're going to make somebody laugh for a few minutes. If you choose the right words, they might laugh for hours!

Tips & Warnings

  • The chimp will literally say anything but make sure to preview because sometimes he/she gets confused on pronunciation.

  • Do not send the message to a business e-mail address unless you know the employee is not going to have to deal with any trouble. If in doubt, send only to personal email addresses.

  • When you do text to speech, before you preview, right click to copy the text. If you don't and you want to change something it won't let you go back - this way you can just paste your old next and make the change.
