Things You'll Need:
- (4) 2x12 treated 6ft long
- Nails
- Hammer
- Vinyl coated wire
- soil
-
Step 1
First take your 2x12's and nail them together at each end. this should make a 6' x 6' box container, place this on a level surface , I put mine on a bed of sand. then fill container with soil. about 1" from the top of the container.
-
Step 2
Measure over from one corner and drive a nail in half way, do this around the entire container. keeping a 1 foot space between the nails.
-
Step 3
Now take your wire, start by tying it to a nail then stretch the wire over to the nail directly across from it, wrap around nail and double over on itself to tighten then cut your wire and go to the next nail and continue all the way around the container. until you have covered all nails. this should leave you with 36 1 foot squares.
-
Step 4
plant what ever you want but limit it to its own square and that will fill your basket all season. This is the easiest garden to maintain.Check my resources below for a garden tools site that i use. Its from Amazon.
