How to Be in Love Forever

Do you hope to be in love forever with your mate? It's not an impossible dream, as millions and probably billions of people have done just that. Read on to find out what it takes.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

First and foremost, realize that loving someone forever is a decision, a commitment. It doesn't mean you will always find them "hot", or they will always keep you entertained or that they will always support you financially. In other words, you have to decide from the beginning that you will love them forever, come what may.

  2. Step 2

Second, place few demands on your partner. Love is not demanding. If you place demands on your partner continually, then sooner or later they won't be able to keep up with them and then your love will fail. Instead of placing demands on them, you need to give support.

  3. Step 3

Have patience and accept the faults of your partner. If you are focused on your partner's faults then you won't be able to love them. Keep in mind that nobody is perfect, including you. For every fault you can find in your partner, your partner could find one in you. It's ok to recognize faults but not dwell on them. If you can avoid mentioning them at all, better yet.

  4. Step 4

Give love. Give of yourself. Keep on giving.

  5. Step 5

Finally, make sure that the partner that you have picked is willing to follow the same steps. It's no good if only one of you has decided to commit to a love forever. You both have to have the same commitment. And you both have to follow these steps.
