How to protect your carpet while painting walls. No more splatter or spills on your carpet. No more drop clothes that don't stay in place

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    You will need a roll of removable carpet protection tape. You can find these is 2 foot wide rolls at Home Depot in the carpet department. You can either cut them in half or in quarters with a miter saw or leave it 2 foot wide. Depending on what type of coverage you want.

  2. Step 2

    Place the roll of tape on the floor close to your baseboard. Start unrolling the tape with the sticky side down on the carpet making sure it is very close to the baseboard covering all parts of the carpet.

  3. Step 3

    Now your carpet is protected from spills and splatters. when you are done painting mearly pull up the tape and throw away. HINT: Do not pull up the tape till the splatters are dry on the tape.
