Things You'll Need:
- pet carrier or a kennel
-
Step 1
Just got your new puppy and things are great the first couple days. Then you start becoming tired of cleaning up messes and trying to get the puppy to go potty outside.
-
Step 2
The first step is get a carrier or kennel cage that is of comfortable size for your puppy.
-
Step 3
The next step is to walk your puppy of a evening and get him or her to go potty, then place your puppy in the cage or kennel over night. First thing in the morning take your puppy out for a potty break. Small puppies have smaller bladders and need to go more frequently. So be sure to let your puppy out more frequently and pay attention to him or her if she is whimpering during the night.
-
Step 4
Do the same routine for times that you leave your home for extended periods during the day. Your puppy should be potty trained in less than a weeks time with minimmal headache and messes to be cleaned up.
