1. Go to the Portrait Illustration Maker website (illustmaker.abi-station.com/index_en.shtml) and create a blank avatar by clicking the red "Delete" button. A blank face is displayed in the top left corner.

2. Click on the button for the features you want. You can start with the hair, eyes or the mustache. You can even select the type of glasses. As you select the various parts, you can view the changes in the avatar.

3. Next, adjust the coloration. To do so, click the "Coloration" button and make your selections for hair, eye, skin and lip color. If the color you want isn't visible at once, click on the "Color bar" to the right of the numeric code and you'll get many more choices.

4. Right-click the avatar and select "Save image as" to save the avitar. It will be subsequently be available for you to select from any program requesting a photo.
