HOw to play the childrens game, Charades for Kids

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Gameboard
  • Charade cards
  • Movers
  • Game die
  • Label Sheet
  1. Step 1

    Set Up
Separate the cards that feature words only from the cards that have a picture on them. Place both sets of cards face down.

  2. Step 2

Each player selects a mover and places it at the start. Have each player roll the die, the person with the highest roll goes first, then the play moves to the left.

  3. Step 3

    Playing the Game:
Start by rolling the die. Act out the charade that corresponds to the number you rolled. (For those players too young to read, they choose a card from the picture deck and act out that picture).
The person to your left gets the first chance to try to guess, and they are allowed only one guess. If they are incorrect the next player gets to try to guess. Whoever answers correctly moves their mover ahead 2 spaces. The person acting out the charade moves ahead 1 space. Once that play is complete, the next person take their turn acting out a charade.

  4. Step 4

    All Play Spaces
If you land on one, STAY THERE, and on your next turn roll the die and see what charade you have to act out.
ALL the players have a chance to guess out loud at the same time. Whoever answers correctly and the charader both move ahead one space.

  5. Step 5

The first player to reach finish wins!!!!
