Need a quick recipe for a home-made cheese ball. This recipe will take you from kitchen to couch in 5 minutes ... with crackers in hand.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • One package of cream cheese.
  • Two packages of shredded cheese, (your choosing) cheddar and Mexican are great.
  • 1/4 cup walnuts (chopped)
  • chopped onions (optional)
  • 2 T worcheshire sauce
  • 2 mixing bowls.
  1. Step 1

Mix shredded cheese with cream cheese. Add onions and worcheshire sauce. Mix well. It is best if you use your hands to (mush) items together.
I normally do not add any walnuts to the cheese ball. The walnuts cover the outside of the cheese ball. This is done in step 3. I would think a few nuts added to the cream cheese mixture may add to the cheese ball if that is your preference.

  2. Step 2

Form mixture into a ball. Make into a nice and tight ball. The cheese on the outside will become pasty, that is okay.

  3. Step 3

Put chopped walnuts into another mixing bowl. Place cheese ball into bowl and roll (swirl) ball around bowl. The nuts will stick to the cheese ball and the swirling makes the ball nice and round.

    Serve with crackers and enjoy.
