A Super Easy way to Donate to Charity
A Super Easy way to Donate to Charity
www.marketingpilgrim.com, www.Care2.com, www.thebreastcancersite.com, www.thehungersite.com, www.freerice.com

Many of us would like to donate to charity for so many causes, and though every small act helps, there is only so much we can give of ourselves and of our personal resources.

I have found some sites that make an online donation for you. All you have to do is click on a link for the causes you want to support. Sponsors make donations based on the amount of clicks made. There's nothing more to it. No sign ups, no purchases, just a click to donate. Here are some sites that I have used to donate to charity that support causes; best of all you donate free of any expenses to you.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Go to Care2 to Make a Difference
This site has many click to donate options to help with causes and issues. It also offers email, ecards, community profiles, petitions, and so much more to donate free for causes. But for this article, we're focusing on their click to donate option.

Go to www.care2.com/click2donate/ were you will find ten different environmental, humanity, and animal causes that you can choose to support. To donate on line at care2.com, all you have to do is click on your cause(s) of choice and then click on the "free click" button to have a online donation made for you.

  2. Step 2

    Visit the Breast Cancer Site
The Breast Cancer site not only provides a click to donate free mammograms, they also have tabs for The Hunger Site where you can click to donate food to hungry children; a Child Health tab where you can donate free health care to children; an Animal Rescue tab for an online donation that provides food and care to sheltered animals, a Rainforests tab where you can click to donate rainforest land to be preserved, and a Literacy tab where you can donate free books to children. These links will be provided in the resources section below.

  3. Step 3

    Donate Free Rice
This click to donate to charity site is actually more fun. At www.freerice.com you make donations to charity based on a vocabulary test. They provide you with a main word and then a multiple choice list of words. From the list you can select a word that best describes the main word. For every correct answer you get, you donate 10 grains of rice. This online donation site can actually become quite addictive... at least it was for me!

  4. Step 4

Find more click to donate sites
You can always find more sites that offer an online donation with a click by doing a search on "click to donate." I also found this page that lists 50 different sites/causes at http://www.thenonprofits.com/

This is a way to make a difference and donate to causes you care about. Best of all it you can donate to charity and donate free care with nothing but a little bit of time and clicking effort! So, go... click to donate online!

Tips & Warnings
  • Visit your sites and click to donate to your favorite causes often.

on 3/11/2009 Wonderful article and I am so happy you wrote it! Most of us think that we cannot save everyone in the world so why bother, but even if we start by helping one person in need that is already a big step towards helping many! My grandma always used to say Don't worry about helping everyone today, just help one :)
