Are you shy? Do you find it hard to talk to someone you are attracted to? If so, you may be left to admire someone from afar instead of asking them out. And while there is nothing wrong with being a secret admirer, you should do it in a way that might help you get a date with that person when they finally discover that you like them. Here are a few ways to be a secret admirer that will increase your chances of getting a date and not make you seem creepy.

Step 1

Make that person blush. Send that cute girl or guy that you’ve had your eye on some flowers or chocolates. Make sure to include a card signed ‘From Your Secret Admirer’. If you would like for that person to know who you are, then make sure the florist or the delivery person drops a few hints as to who the present is from. If you are not sure about letting that person know who you are, then make sure that you pay with cash and give the florist a fake name.
Step 2

Write that person a poem. There is nothing more flattering than receiving a nice poem from a secret admirer. Even if the poem is not original, the recipient is likely to blush and wonder who their admirer is all day long.
Step 3

Be creative, but not creepy. If you do leave a note or send flowers, make sure that you leave it for that person in a public place instead of a place where they might be uncomfortable and feel like someone is watching them. You can send the flowers to their workplace or have the waitress at their favorite restaurant hand them the note.
Step 4

Talk to their friends. Don’t be afraid to reveal who you are to that person’s friends. Make sure that their friend is willing to keep it a secret and even help you keep her in suspense. This might be a great way to make it more mysterious and help you get a date when you finally reveal who you are.
