The pages of your web site should load fast slow loading pages are not good. You want your visitors to be able to read your web pages and make a purchase if you are selling products on your web site. Your web pages need to open fast and immediately this keeps the visitor happy.
Your first page or home page should not have any pop ups or anything annoying that is trying to open up on the page. Background music that is loud if you use it might drive the customer of unless your sell music or something like that. Do not put any flash type animations on the web page this can also drive your customers away. -

Stay with the content don't change the content on your different pages unless its about a different product.. Each page need to inform your guests what its about.Use clear headings about the page and topic. Each page should have a good design and a logo it should be the same on all your web pages.Your web pages should all be the same color a white background with black text is the best to use.Keeping the font the same on all pages is a must.Make sure you proof read each page and use spell check, nothing worse the misspelled words on a page.

Your guests should be able to easily navigate around the different pages of your web site. You should link all your pages either on the top or the side of your web page. You also need a home button on each page so the customer can return to your start page.
Your web sites need to be completed before you go online. Your web site should not look like a work in progress it needs to be complete when you take it online. You can add pages later and make sure they are linked from the home page.
Make sure you let your guests know that you will be having more content or products in the future, you can write on the home page to" please stop back to check for product updates".This will let them know to stop back and that the web site is updated regularly.

The people who fill a home page with flash, popups and loud music need this. This is good info. -

Nice article. If a website has pop-up ads or music, I leave and never return. Give me good content over flashy images and colors any day! -
