How to Teach Your Child The Time

Is your child struggling with telling time? Do you know how to help him? Well you could do this activity with them everyday and for certain they will learn fast telling the time.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • paper plate, brass fastener, some paper, black marker, and colors
  1. Step 1

    Write the numbers of the clock around the edge of the plate. Write the numbers with a black marker.Also you will need to draw five short lines for each number around the clock. Color the plate with any light color. Then cut out two paper arrows to represent the hands, one short and one long.

  2. Step 2

    Poke a brass fastener through the center of the plate, attaching the two paper hands.Your clock is ready to use.

  3. Step 3

    Is time to teach them the time. Challenge your child by telling then a specific time. Let them move the clock hands and show you what time they think it is. Let them know the difference between the small hand and long hand, what it means.

  • Practice everyday and for certain your child will learn how to tell time.
