Having your cat spayed or neutered can be expensive.
For those on a limited income or who just can not afford it there are some resources that can provide you with discount coupons to receive low cost spay and neuter services. There are also many more resources that can provide completely free services to get you cat spayed or neutered.

Things You'll Need:

• Phone
• Access to the internet
• A cat

1. Look online at website's like neuterspay.org. Type in your information to find local spay and neuter organizations.

2. Visit the website's that you find and write down the names and phone numbers of the organization's that you are interested in.

3. Call the organizations and find out what there requirements are for free spay and neutering services.

4. Organize and gather any documents that are required (such as proof of income, proof of residency, etc.)

5. On the day of your cats surgery arrive early and bring any paper work that is needed.

Tips & Warnings

• If you do not already have a cat carrier you may need to buy one as most places will require you cat to be caged upon arrival and departure.
• Keep your calendar open as you will more than likely need to be available to bring your cat in whenever they can accommodate your pet.
