How to Download a Bit Torrent Movie
Bit Torrents are tracker files that locate peers with the program you are seeking on their hard drive. When you obtain the torrent, you need to use a specific torrent program to download the actual file. You can receive books, videos, programs or music from these trackers. A bit torrent is obtainable through a peer-to-peer network. You choose the torrent tracker file from certain websites, then use your application to directly download the movie to your hard drive.

Download and install BitTorrent. This client is a requirement for downloading a torrent movie. You can also use the Opera browser and the uTorrent application to receive the movie from the torrent tracker. Go to the BitTorrent website and click on the button on the right-hand side of the page, "Get BitTorrent". Select "Get BitTorrent" again on the next page. Click "Save" and choose a download folder. Double click on the file. Follow the on-screen instructions, which consists of agreeing to the terms and selecting an install folder.

Go to a torrent website to download the movie tracker. You can choose from several sites including The Pirate Bay, Torrent Portal or Mininova. At the top of the page is a search feature. Type in the name of the movie and click "Search." This will look for the movie on the website of your choice.

Scroll through the applications that appear. Locate the movie you are looking for and click on it. Select on "Download This Torrent" link. Save to your download folder.

Double click the torrent file. This will bring up the BitTorrent client or your equivalent program. A list of the files that are in the torrent will appear. Click, "Ok." Then your bit torrent movie download will start immediately. Depending on the size of the file, which is approximately 8GB for a movie, this should take about six hours to download.
