Things You'll Need:
- patience
- golf ball
- tee
- driver
-
Step 1
Tee the ball so that half the ball is above the club head, while sitting behind the ball. take your address stance at the ball. Grip your club and push straight out ahead of you at chest height.
-
Step 2
Lower your arms straight down in front of you and let the clubhead rest on the ground, this is how far away from the ball you should be. A common mistake most golfers make is that they get to close or too far away from the ball.
-
Step 3
Try to keep your body as upright as possible, stay loose with shoulders hands and and chest facing square forward.Bring the clubhead back smooth and constant, letting it turn naturally with the take away,go until the left arm wants to bend slightly, this is your high point,at this point you want all the momentum to transfer back into the downswing downswing.
-
Step 4
Once everything comes back to center at the bottom, then all momentum switches to the follow through, your hands should finish high and back over your left shoulder,(if right handed) Right shoulder (if left handed). Check out my resources below for links to my favorite golf suppy site.
