Step 1
Valentine's Day is just a silly commercial holiday, hyped up with flowers, cards, chocolates and dinner reservations. A good relationship would have that if there wasn't a Valentine's Day. It's not about love or relationships, but about retailers making some extra money.
-
Step 2
You are not alone in the "Single" world on Valentine's Day. Call up some friends or family who are also single. Go do something fun! Or stay in! Either way, spending time with someone else that day will make you feel not so alone.
-
Step 3
Remember that it doesn't matter if your single or in a relationship. Define yourself! Be yourself! Love yourself! It doesn't matter what your age, race, or religion, your relationship status does not make you the person that you are.
-
Step 4
If you just can't get over the fact you don't have those fancy heart shaped box chocolates, what the heck, buy them for yourself! As your enjoying them, embrace the fact that you are single. There are plenty of pros to being single. Single people tend to have stronger relationships with all the people that love them such as friends and family. Or think of ways to enlighten your spirits so when the right person does come along you are ready.
