Things You'll Need:
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- dash of cayenne pepper
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 3 1/2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup hot water
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- cinnamon sticks
- whipped cream

Step 1
In a saucepan, combine cocoa, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, cayenne pepper and salt.

Step 2
Stir in hot water. Bring to a boil, keep on medium heat. Boil, stirring for 2 minutes. Add milk; stir and heat thoroughly, making sure not boil.

Step 3
Remove from heat; stir in vanilla. Beat until foamy. Serve hot with cinnamon sticks & whipped cream, if desired.

on 2/16/2009 Sounds delicious!! I love sweet and a little spicy at the same time!! Our good friend owns a mexican restaurant nearby and he put a jalapeno creme brulee on his menu that I could eat 10 of at once! I'll tell him he has to make this too!!! 5 spicy stars!!!
