How to Use the Wii Rock Band Wireless Guitar
Rock Band is a game that allows you to create your own virtual band with friends and play music using special instrument-shaped controllers. The Wii version of Rock Band has both wired and un-wired guitar controllers that will both work with either Rock Band or Rock Band 2.

Turn on the Wii, and insert the Rock Band disk into the console. Then select the Rock Band game from your Wii Channel dashboard by pointing at it and clicking the "A" button.

Plug in your guitars. If you have a wired guitar, plug it into one of the Wii's USB slots on the top of the console. If you have a wireless guitar, plug the adapter into one of the USB slots, and then press and hold the

Navigate the menus using the guitar controller's strum button. You can select menu options by pressing the green fret button, and can cancel using the red button.

Play a song. Playing a song in Rock Band using the Wii controller involves being able to press the right color fret button and strum at the exact same time. If you have never played before, there is a very useful tutorial mode, which can be found at the bottom of the main menu.

Tips & Warnings
If you are playing with a "full band" (with a guitar, bass, vocal, and drum player) then you will need to purchase a USB hub for your Wii to accommodate all of these peripherals.
Although Rock Band Guitars work with the Guitar Hero franchise on other platforms, this is not the case with the Wii versions of these games. You will need separate instrument controllers for both games.
