How to Make a Wedding Gift Card Holder
The wedding card holder described in this article is quick and easy to make. It is also easy to transport because the pieces aren't permanently attached. It involves using a hat box as the base and a child's lace umbrella as the top of the "wishing well." Tips & Warnings
If the doll rods aren't sturdy enough to hold the parasol on straight, you can use small pieces of modeling clay to stick the bottom of the doll rod to the inside bottom of the hat box.
Throughout the reception, have someone check the card holder to make sure that the cards are still going in fine. If you receive a large number of cards, they may not fall in all the way and get stuck.
