Things You'll Need:
- Computer Internet access MySpace account
-
Step 1
Open a MySpace account. This is very simple and quick to do. If you want to add a lot of flair and design to your page, it may take longer, but the basic setup just requires clicking on the "Sign Up" button. Then fill in basic information such as your email address, name, birth date and where you live. This information is used by MySpace only and will not be displayed to the general public.
-
Step 2
Click on the "Find Friends" tab at the top of the homepage once you are signed in to your MySpace account. On the next screen, search for classmates you know by entering email addresses. If your school or college has a standard email address for each student, then it may be easy to find people if they used their school email to sign up for the account.
-
Step 3
Search for classmates, using their first and last name. If you do not have their first and last name, and they do not have an unusual first name, then it will be more difficult to find them on MySpace. Remember, this website has millions of users worldwide. You can also search for them if you know their MySpace name. Many people do not use their real names, but they use a nickname for their MySpace accounts.
-
Step 4
Enter the name of your high school in the second box on the "Find Friends" screen. This box prompts you to enter your school name and the country and state or province where it is located. When you search by school, you can narrow your choices of people by the year they graduated. There are several options for finding classmates on MySpace, and one of them should work for you if your classmates have MySpace accounts, and they have filled out information about themselves.
