Making party favor bags with burlap fabric is easy to do and very economical. Burlap sacks are sure to add a touch of casual whimsy to any festive activity. By simply tying up burlap squares using a sturdy ribbon or twine, you will be able to create as many party favor bags as you need.
Things You'll Need
- Burlap fabric
- Assortment of party favor trinkets
- Twine or 1/8-inch ribbon
- Rubber bands
- Computer and printer
- Memo tags
Cut out burlap squares according to the size that you desire.
Place the party favors in the center of the square. If you use small trinkets or candy as the gifts, pile them in a small mound.
Gather the edges of the burlap in one hand. Twist the contents of the sack to form a tight closure.
Use a rubber band to hold the burlap sack closed. Cover up the rubber band with a piece of twine or ribbon.
Print out personalized memo tags, and insert them into the final tie of the twine or ribbon.
