Now you'll need to download the mp3 converter. To do so, you will need to download the ringtone converter software. Pair the phone with the PC. You must first make sure the phone and the PC are Bluetooth compatible. If not, you will have to configure the Bluetooth settings on both the phone and the PC. Pre-installed Bluetooth technology on most PCs can be set up by simply clicking the desktop icon and following the simple set up instructions. Then you should turn the cellular Bluetooth settings on. This can be done by going to the menu on your phone, and clicking the "Settings" tab. You should see "Bluetooth Settings." Turn the settings on and pair both the phone and PC. When the devices are found, click "Pair" or "Add devices." This will vary depending on your handset. When prompted to enter the four-digit pass code, you should enter 0000 or 1234. Both pass codes are stationary and the same code should be entered on both the PC and phone. When the devices give the indication that the pair has been successful, you will now be able to transmit media. When the screen appears with options for paired devices with the PC, click "Send media via Bluetooth." Go to "Ringtones" and click "Send."

Tips & Warnings

  • When using the converting software, please remember changing the sound quality from normal to high will take up more space on your phone's memory.

  • When sharing ringtones via Bluetooth, be sure the file types of the songs are compatible. If not, the files will not function properly. Depending on the phone carrier, the converting software may not work properly due to restrictions on uploading and media transmission.
