Things You'll Need:
- 1 crushed cardamom
- 1 crushed clove
- Pestle and mortar
- Cinnamon stick to taste
- 3/4 teaspoon powdered ginger
- Bay leaf (optional)
- Honey to taste (optional)
- Ceramic mug or tea cup

Step 1
Finely grind the cardamom and clove with the pestle and mortar. Place in ceramic mug. Add powdered ginger, cinnamon stick and bay leaf (if using).
Bring water to a full boil. -
Step 2
Pour boiling water over ingredients and steep for 5 minutes.
Remove the bay leaf but leave the cinnamon stick in the tea. Add honey if desired. -
Step 3
Drink while hot. Repeat as desired for relief of cold symptoms.
