1
Purchase a wine chiller. Wine chillers are not kept as cold as a standard refrigerator and can be set to an ideal temperature to store Dom Perignon.
-
2
Place the wine chiller in a place where no direct sunlight hits the door of the chiller.
-
-
3
Set the temperature of the wine chiller to 45 degrees Fahrenheit.
-
4
Adjust the shelves in the wine chiller to accommodate the Dom Perignon bottle. Dom Perignon bottles are slightly larger than most bottles of wine. This means that the shelves in the wine chiller may need to be adjusted so that the bottles of Dom Perignon can easily be put in and taken out of the chiller.
-
5
Lay the bottle of Dom Perignon on its side and slide it into the wine chiller. The bottle should be stored on its side rather than standing upright to prevent the cork from drying out over time.
