The wrap dress is one of the most popular and versatile styles of dress available for women. Introduced in 1972 by designer Diane Von Furstenberg, the wrap dress is a staple in any fashionable woman's wardrobe. Its popularity is due in part to its ability to flatter any figure by enhancing the bust, accentuating the waist and slimming the hips. The wrap dress is great for traveling and as a maternity outfit. It is extremely comfortable and requires minimal care and ironing.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Put on the dress and bring the ends of the strings on each side to the front. Take the left string and loop it through the tiny hole located on the right side, directly at the waist.

  2. Step 2

Pull the string until it's completely through the hole and out on the other side. Then, pull the right string around to the left side of your body.

  3. Step 3

Take both the left and right string and wrap them around the back of the dress so that they form an X shape. Then wrap them around, bringing the strings to the front of the dress.

  4. Step 4

Take both ends and cross them, looping one end under the other.

  5. Step 5

Take one end of the string and make it into a loop. Then make the opposite end of the string into an identical loop, similar to the "bunny ears" loops made when tying shoelaces. Now cross the two loops you made and pull the one on top through the hole between them. Pull the loops tightly in opposite directions.

  6. Step 6

Keep adjusting the loops until they are the same size and tighten.
