How To Make an Apple Margarita
Apple margaritas are not as common as their lime counterparts. However, they are still a delicious frozen drink that many people enjoy. Combining apple pucker and apple liqueur together will result in a strong and sweet apple flavor. Use this easy method to make a frozen apple margarita, or serve it on the rocks.

- 1 cup ice
- 1 ounce tequila
- 1 ounce apple liqueur
- 1 ounce apple juice
- ½ ounce apple pucker
- Blender
- Chilled margarita glass
- Cinnamon
- Sugar
- Small plate
- Apple wedge
- Drink umbrella

Combine ice, tequila, apple liqueur, apple juice and apple pucker in a blender. Blend on medium speed until the mixture is smooth.

Apply a small amount of the apple pucker to the entire rim of a chilled margarita glass with your fingers. Pour a few pinches of cinnamon and sugar onto the small plate and mix well.

Turn the margarita glass upside down and dip the rim into the cinnamon and sugar mixture. Coat the rim thoroughly by rotating the glass in a circular motion.

Pour the apple margarita from the blender into the margarita glass. Strain through a fine sieve to remove any large pieces of ice, if desired.

Garnish with an apple wedge by placing it over the edge of the glass. Add a drink umbrella and serve immediately.

Tips & Warnings
If you prefer your apple margarita on the rocks, place it in a shaker and combine instead of blending in a blender. Then, strain and pour over ice. If apple pucker is unavailable, you can use sour mix instead. However, this will somewhat diminish the apple flavor. Garnish with a green apple wedge, if possible, to compliment the green color of the margarita. Make a pitcher of apple margarita by multiplying the ingredients by six. This will make 6 to 8 servings.
