    Instructions

    Things You'll Need

    • 1 cup ice
    • 1 ounce tequila
    • 1 ounce apple liqueur
    • 1 ounce apple juice
    • ½ ounce apple pucker
    • Blender
    • Chilled margarita glass
    • Cinnamon
    • Sugar
    • Small plate
    • Apple wedge
    • Drink umbrella
      • 1

Combine ice, tequila, apple liqueur, apple juice and apple pucker in a blender. Blend on medium speed until the mixture is smooth.

      • 2

Apply a small amount of the apple pucker to the entire rim of a chilled margarita glass with your fingers. Pour a few pinches of cinnamon and sugar onto the small plate and mix well.

      • 3

Turn the margarita glass upside down and dip the rim into the cinnamon and sugar mixture. Coat the rim thoroughly by rotating the glass in a circular motion.

      • 4

Pour the apple margarita from the blender into the margarita glass. Strain through a fine sieve to remove any large pieces of ice, if desired.

      • 5

Garnish with an apple wedge by placing it over the edge of the glass. Add a drink umbrella and serve immediately.

    Tips & Warnings

    • If you prefer your apple margarita on the rocks, place it in a shaker and combine instead of blending in a blender. Then, strain and pour over ice. If apple pucker is unavailable, you can use sour mix instead. However, this will somewhat diminish the apple flavor. Garnish with a green apple wedge, if possible, to compliment the green color of the margarita. Make a pitcher of apple margarita by multiplying the ingredients by six. This will make 6 to 8 servings.
