With singers commonly using disco ball bras, it's no wonder everyday women want to get there hands on one as well, to make their very own fashion statement. You don't have to be a famous singer to get your own disco ball bra--you just need a little creativity and a willingness to create one yourself.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Bra in whatever style and size suits you best
  • Sequins or mosaic mirror chips
  • Fabric glue or thread

  • Glitter

Choose which bra you'd like to use for your base. To get a larger disco ball feel, a full coverage bra would probably work best, however demi or low-cut bras would work as well. To mimic the true look and feel of a disco ball, it may be wise to invest in a gray bra, though white and black would work just as well.

  2. Step 2

Spread fabric glue over the cups of the bra. Before the glue sets, pour silver glitter (or another color of your choice) over the cups, creating a sparkling effect. Let dry.

If you want something a little more original, but need to save time, invest in some mosaic mirror chips. You can most likely find them at a craft store. To create a disco ball-feel, carefully use fabric glue or a hot glue gun and place the mosaic mirror chips in rows along each cup. Clean up any extra glue before drying. Though this will probably look the most authentic, it may also hurt the most when wearing.

  4. Step 4

Invest in some sequins in the color of your choice. Choose a thread to match. A thing to consider if you choose this route is to use a bra that isn't heavily padded as you will be sewing the sequins in rows. If you do choose this method, you can either hand sew or use a sewing machine to place the sequins in rows on the cups of the bras. This is more time consuming, but the end result will be rather pretty.
