Step 1
Visit the customize section of the Converse website to begin designing the Converse of your dreams (see Resources below). Begin by choosing adult or youth sizes. Once you're on the main page, the adult options will be on the left hand box along the bottom; the youth options will be in the center box along the bottom.
-
Step 2
Select your style. Open the lower left hand box on the main page, and click on the arrow on the left hand side. Pick a style from those available, which range from double-canvas high tops to a simple low top.
-
Step 3
Choose your size. Once you choose a style, a box will appear that tells you to make sure the shoes will fit your feet. Click on it to choose your appropriate size. Sizes are broken down to standard sizes for USA men or women, UK or Europe.
-
Step 4
Pick your colors or designs. Click on "Design." A box of canvas color and design options will appear. Choose one color or design for each of the options that come up. For example, a standard low top sneaker will have choices for outer shoe panel, inner shoe panel, heel stripe, tongue, inner lining color, stitching, side rubber color and laces. Go down the list and choose your preference for each category.
-
Step 5
Personalize. After all colors or designs are chosen, you can opt to personalize your shoe with your name, a word or other alphabetic sequence printed on the back heel strip. Type your letters into the box that will appear after you choose the "Personalize" option. Make sure you have not included too many letters or colors that will not be legible.
-
Step 6
Review your shoe. Once all options are selected or even during the selection process, you can review your shoe from different angles with the buttons across the bottom of the box. You may view the shoe from a top angle, side angle, back, front or bottom.
-
Step 7
Complete the order. Once all options have been filled to your satisfaction, finish off the order by providing your personal and payment information, and choose your delivery option.
