Does this Spark an idea?

1
Purchase all the materials you will need to make the perfume. This includes the empty vials or small glass containers for storing the perfume.
-
2
Begin by measuring three ounces of vodka and pouring it into your container. This is the base for the perfume. Everything else will be added to the base.

3
Assemble different essential oils and smell them. Decide which ones you think are pleasant. Pick out two or three that can be mixed together. If you aren't sure if the mix will work, first pour a few drops of each onto a spoon. If you like what you smell, go with it. Otherwise, scrap it and try another combination.
-
4
Take 35 drops of your favorite essential oils and drip them into your container.
-
5
Choose your fixative. A fixative is necessary so your perfume doesn't evaporate and lasts longer. You can choose either vitamin E capsules or vanilla. They both can be found at any grocery store. The vanilla may add to the smell of your perfume, while the vitamin E will not. That may help you decide which one you want to use. Add seven to eight drops of fixative to the container.
-
6
Stir the perfume and then place the cap on the container.
-
7
Label the perfume by scent. This is especially important if you make more than one kind of perfume.
-
8
Set your container in a dry dark place for two weeks to one month. The longer it sits, the better it will smell.
-
9
Place a few drops on your wrists, neck, or clothing. Wear for the day.
