Things You'll Need:
- Sticker paper for ink-jet printer
- Clip art or digital photos
-
Step 1
Consider what you want your stickers to say or do for you. Your personalized stickers can have your photo on them, a personal slogan or images of things that you like. Stickers for children may include images of celebrities, animals or favorite characters.
-
Step 2
Collect digital images or clip art for your stickers. Microsoft Word and Publisher have vast collections of clip art, or you can download images off the Internet for personal use. You can also assemble your own photo files to use on your stickers. Once you find your images, you can save them all in a separate file on your computer so that you can find them easily when you are ready to print.
-
Step 3
Get your sticker paper. You can find sticker paper that you can run through your ink-jet printer at any home office supply store and many super centers. Some sticker paper makers, such as Avery, include CDs of clip art images and sticker templates.
-
Step 4
Open Microsoft Word or another publishing program. Open the template included with your sticker paper, or simply begin to insert your clip art and digital images onto the page. If you like, you can create separate text boxes for each sticker to make adding text or cutting stickers apart later easier.
-
Step 5
Add text and use creative fonts to embellish your stickers. Use different font and image sizes to add more variety to your stickers. Fill the page to get the most out of your sticker paper.
-
Step 6
Review, load up your sticker paper, and print. Once the ink is dry, cut the stickers apart to share or use.
